ETVAC
is a car club which was started by a group of vintage car buffs, who enjoyed the
era and vehicles of the 20's & 30's. Our
club has been
active in shows and events, cruising to different places around
Texas and simply enjoying each other's company.
We now welcome those with cars and trucks from the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s,
80s, and street rods, while preserving the core interest of the vintage and
antique cars of the early 20th century. You
don't even have to own an older car or truck to join us,
simply have an avid interest in these vehicles.
We are an active car club with monthly meetings, a newsletter, cruises and
a future website. We are not a
racing car club, nor a low rider club: but enjoy the quiet fellowship of showing
our vehicles and cruising places to events, both competitive and noncompetitive.
Some of our members have extensive collections and are well known around
the area, being involved with other auto related organizations and activities.
We are interactive with each other and share our experiences, knowledge
and expertise in restoring, preserving and enjoying the cars and trucks we have,
and most certainly driving them.
Many of our members attend cruise nights, car shows benefiting charities,
and other events where enthusiasts gather to enjoy these older vehicles.
We work with other car show promoters in the area and our club joins them
in events throughout the year.
Our club currently gathers every third Sunday afternoon of each month for
a meeting unless the date has changed. We
usually have an outing where we can gather with our cars, and then eat at a
restaurant and enjoy each other's company.
We also have special cruises to places around East Texas to enjoy
ourselves on the road, realizing that driving our older cars and trucks is truly
a rewarding experience for all of us.
If you have an older car or truck or simply enjoy being around those that
do, join us for the adventure. We
welcome enthusiastic people who want the company of other car buffs.
Please
come join us!

ideas, stories, tips and tricks to assist in restoration. We occasionally assist
locating parts for owners and enthusiasts of classic automobiles. We strive to
aid in the restoration and preservation of this part of our heritage. We strive
to bring together owners and any others interested in restoration, cruising,
showing and sharing the history of classic cars, trucks, and tractors. We are a
non-profit organization, encouraging good fellowship, fairness and enjoyment of
family oriented activities.
